LOW YEONG SHI (b. 2004) Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, I’m currently completing a Diploma in Fine Art at the Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA). My practice spans painting, drawing, and mixed media, often weaving together themes of knowledge, ambiguity, and duality.

My work draws inspiration from nature, personal observation, and philosophical concepts, exploring the hidden connections between people, objects, and emotions.

I aim to balance structure and spontaneity, combining surreal symbolism with subtle narrative elements. Through layered compositions, symbolic masks, and playful details, my work invites viewers to pause, observe, and question the boundaries between reality and imagination.
